How big is a Ford Ranger?

The Ford Ranger is designed and purpose built to handle every task and challenge you set it, and comes in a variety of specifications to suit exactly the type of job you need it for. The size of the Ranger depends on the size of cab you need and what your load specifications will be. There are three different cab sizes, they are the Regular Cab, the Super Cab and the Double Cab.

Regular Cab

The smallest cab size on offer, but with the largest load bed size, the Regular Cab has a two-door cab with seats for two people.

Measurements:

  • Overall Length: 5277 mm
  • Roof Height: 1800 mm
  • Width with/without mirrors: 2163/1860 mm
  • Width with mirrors folded: 1977 mm

Super Cab

The Super Cab has two conventional front doors and two reverse-hinged rear doors, which give easy access to the back of the cab and the space behind the front seats. This cab style has part time seating in the rear which can be used as an extra storage compartment if needed.

  • Overall Length: 5362 mm
  • Roof Height: 1706 mm(4x2)/1804(4x4)
  • Width with/without mirrors: 2163/1860 mm
  • Width with mirrors folded: 1977 mm

Double Cab

The largest cab on offer the Double Cab has a four-door cab style providing a spacious, car-like environment, with seats for up to five occupants.

  • Overall Length: 5362 mm
  • Roof Height: 1848 mm
  • Width with/without mirrors: 2163/1860 mm
  • Width with mirrors folded: 1977 mm

Wades right in

With a wading depth of 800mm* the Ranger goes where lesser vehicles may fear to tread, proving itself both on dry land and through water.
